Now talking about printer rental, it is important to know what your needs are.  If you have a small office that doesn't do a lot of serious printing but does need a printing when the occasion arises, renting a printer is not the best options.  Sure, it might cost a little less at first, but if you need to have a printer around for any necessary job, then there isn't much point in paying for one month to month.  In this case, you can buy a printer for much cheaper.  Printers are now more affordable than ever.  You can get all in one printers for very low prices, most likely less than $50.  Again, a small office probably doesn't need much more than that, so why throw money away on renting?  Just pony up the money for a good printer that doesn't need a lot of maintenance.  You can get a printer at just about any computer or electronics store for a low price.  Don't spend all of your company's money on a giant printer that looks like a droid from Star Wars, go with something cheap that you can buy anywhere.

We have come a long way from the printers of yesteryear.  Back then, they used dot-matrix printers.  These printers would print out words and images using black dots since technology was limited back then.  Luckily, technology has continued to evolve and now we have some sweet printers that can print off images of almost anything with the best color and quality around.  With all the hype about 3-D movies and TVs, maybe one day we will have 3-D printers that can print images that jump out at you, as long as you are wearing the proper glasses for it.  Think that this is a dumb idea and no one will go for it?  Well 3-D was big in the 80s and now it's back, so maybe we can finally get the 3-D printers that we've all been waiting for.
